Postcards from the Travelling Duo of David and Anne
Here are some glimpses at British Columbia from some recent jaunts
Okanagan Lake in Black and White
With the gentle colours of wildflowers overlooking Lake Okanagan
Okanagan Lake, looking south towards Kelowna
Now heading north and east, after a stop in Revelstoke,
we drove to the ferry at Galena Bay, which took us to Nakusp on the Arrow Lakes
and the passage way for the mighty Columbia River flowing on its way south
These waters are wonderfully blue
— the colour in these photos has not been enhanced
and Yonder
— what is being seen??
Let's take a closer look!
Hmmm ... a glacial sinkhole? a lake?
heading south along the Lake towards the Needles Ferry
There is no charge for taking these inland ferries
This was a day so exquisite that I stopped taking photos
Closer to Home on Shuswap Lake — Bastion Mountain
And another windy, rainy day with half a rainbow
Thanks for coming along!
