Kamloops Pow Wow 

We enjoyed this annual event of indigenous pride with many beautiful people, including grandson Ren (not shown).

It was truly nourishing to the soul to be with a distinct culture that was celebrating its uniqueness and strength. The centrality, coherence of identity was showing. Being so based in song and beat, dance, plus with care for one another, respect for all ages and sexes, well...it was another living gem, this time through the multi-faceted beauty of human expression. I felt at home.
